WSBKeymaster4 news stories are in queue for the front page so I’m taking the liberty of promoting this here … wanted to remind everyone that all are invited to drop by Capers 7-8 pm tonight for the second-ever West Seattle Community Recognition Awards informal get-together. No tuxes, no gowns, no speeches, no trophies, just a chance to chat, meet some of your fellow WSB’ers (and to say hi to your WSB co-publishers too), complimentary treats are likely since last time the cool folks at Capers had coffee/tea/brownies. Any time between 7 and 8 pm tonight, hope to see you there — TR

JoBParticipantthis is a big weekend for WSB Forum Community members…
We were in the news yesterday for our efforts to help Puget Sound Lock and Key reopen after an arson attack… Kathy did an incredible job representing us.
we have the WSB event tonight at Capers.. honoring West Seattle residents who make a real difference in our community… and showing our support for TR, WSB and all they have provided for us….
and our big fundraising event tomorrow at the Admiral Pub for Puget sound Lock and Key who were the victims of Arson.
I was there last night with Jan selling raffle tickets and it is a nice open airy place that is family friendly until 9PM… and they serve food. I had the nachos last night and they were very good.
I am going to make a WSB weekend of it…
turning out for Tracey tonight.. showing West Seattle that the WSB Forum members community is much more than an online presence…
and partying tomorrow while supporting one of our own local small businesses in trouble…
We will have raffle tickets available tonight at Capers… so it’s one more opportunity to help out Puget Sound Lock and Key even if you won’t be able to attend tomorrow night’s event…
and of course a great opportunity to meet some of the people who really make a difference here in West Seattle..
Please try to attend one or both of these events… I am having great fun meeting people i would normally only know through their sign in names…
and the more we meet, the more we find we have more in common than our online community
