Our West Seattle company is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper, has an advanced knowledge of Quick Books, to assist in managing our accounting, payroll and billing. (25-30 Employees) We are a small home based WA State Home Care Agency since ’92 and prefer Tuesdays and or Wednesday for 10-15 hours. Compensation D.O.E.
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Bank Account Reconciliation
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
Prepare weekly payroll and direct payroll deposits
Prepare Quarterly Payroll, City and State Business Taxes
Year end financial reporting, 1099 and W-2 preparation
Year end coordination with Business Tax Accountant for on time tax preparation
Maintain historical records by filing documents
Bookkeeper Skills and Qualifications for us:
2 year Degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in accounts receivable.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Quickbooks (Mac Desktop software and electronic payroll)
Maintain standards, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, reporting research results, great data entry skills,
Loves accounting, adheres to SFAS Rules, attention to details, Confidentiality and observing HIIPA regulations.
General knowledge in the Home Care field not required but a real plus.
