Hi everbody, does someone know what happened with the farm that used to sell blueberries in the Highline area? The family’s last name is McFarland and the place was run by a very nice and friendly older couple. We called their phone number to see which days is open in the summer but the line has been disconnected. We drove by their house (11266 3rd. Ave S) yesterday and we didn’t see any sign outside, the way they used to have it. It was a tradition for us to go to their house to pick blueberries and we will miss them very much if they decided to close permanently. Please give us some information if someone know about what happened.

Try 206-243-3429. I’ve lived here forever and only just discovered them this past summer. Same address that you have. We went and picked and paid on the honor system. The many bushes needed some pruning, as they were practically growing into each other. If the folks are quite elderly, maybe we can do a visit like a wellness check. Maybe they could use a little help. If anyone finds out some information, let’s share.
