it is an extremely bad day to be a Turkey
good day to be stuffed with turkey
Had an awesome turkey-free prix fixe dinner at Cafe Flora yesterday, after watching an equally awesome PBS/Nature special called “My Life as a Turkey” on Thanksgiving Eve.
i ate turkey.
i am not proud of myself.. but there you go…
where i got it i am pretty sure it was a lovingly raised on a small farm…
but i confess..
i would have eaten it even if it hadn’t been.
for me thanksgiving isn’t thanksgiving without turkey…
for some reason the Christmas ham doesn’t have the same appeal..
for Christmas i am as likely to go out for Chinese as not…
Chinese food on Christmas is an old Jewish tradition, and Chinese restaurants (including Bamboo Garden, which is vegetarian AND kosher) do a booming business on Christmas Day.
