The last post about Arthurs said it was going to open on March first. I live in Arbor Heights, so not easy to just drive by. Their web site is not active nor their Facebook page. Anyone eat there yet? If so, spill. If they are open, I am surprised there has been no posts about it. usually, new restaurants get a big response on the blog.

Have eaten there. Its a lovely space. Food is not bad, but they are obviously still working out the kinks with some menu items. Staff are lovely though.

Not sure why its taking them so long to sort out their website and get info/hours posted on common search tools (google, yelp etc). Hopefully that will happen soon.

    Everything is on Yelp https://www.yelp.com/biz/arthurs-breakfast-to-bar-seattle-2

I have been and space, service & food are much higher quality than Angelina’s. I never had 1 good food experience at Angelina’s though. It still is working out the kinks as it’s brand new, but I think it will do well once they fix a few dishes and kitchen timing.

Was there for lunch. Beautiful space. Bright and airy. The cocktail I had was good, although a little pricey at $12. The sandwich was also good. Nothing to write home about, but nothing awful. The side of chips were a little bitter from being over-fried. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Interested in trying their “brekkie” sometime soon. Definitely open, though, so give it a go and let us know what you think.

I had a completely bizarre experience and was going to wait for a second visit to review it. I sat in the bar, ordered a glass of wine and the bartender went and helped about a few people (over about 10 minutes) and gazed into space before I had to ask about my wine (he had forgotten). The wine was mislabeled on the menu. I asked about the special and he had no idea about the sides. The food tasted good but the spinach was advertised as “wilted” and it was boiled or braised, swimming in broth. The employees were all hunched in a corner of the bar, some of the patrons were going in and out of the bathroom a lot in a short period of time. I will try it at a different time because I heard the food was good.

We went there yesterday for brunch and we won’t be back. Ridiculously slow, service was just poor, all of our (there were six of us) eggs were overcooked and it was seriously overpriced. The food was meh. I should have known when there was no wait at 10:00 on a Sunday.

I’ll join the “nice space, good service, so-so food” chorus. I had the eponymous sandwich (the lamb version) and a side salad. Good ingredients, but the seasoning was weak. I’ll give them another chance.
