We came across a few chickens (it looked like three) hiding in some bushes on 44th AVE SW and Walker, I believe. They were right by that healing center. They looked healthy, but with all the dogs and raccoons in the area I don’t think they were loose on purpose.

Sorry, I did not mean to put this in the recommendations section of the forum. I meant to put it in the general section.

remember Sesame Street? “there are chickens in the trees, there are chickens in the trees”….

I digress…I do not know who they belong to…just reminded me of the song – lol…

You might want to add some coon & possum stew with that chicken Cruiser!

lol… if I ate meat it might have been tempting. I think they were hens. Maybe I should have asked who was missing hens. :)

guidosmom – not sure where that location is but I would suggest you call Animal Control at 386-PETS and see if they will pick them up to get them out of danger – you may also want to send this to WSB and they can put it on the pets page.

They wont last the night out there poor things.

I walked by there tonight, and didn’t see them. Hopefully their family found them.

Did they look nervous? If so, I bet I know who they belong to.

They looked kind of nervous, and were clearly trying to hide.
