dustinParticipantStarted about 10 min. ago and while I can’t hear any thunder, I don’t think they’re fireworks.

WSBKeymasterIt’s lightning. I’m about to put a note on the home page. Way to the south/southeast. It was in the forecast for “the foothills.”

charlabobParticipantHeat lightning? I’m used to it in the midwest and east, but didn’t know it struck here. We saw it driving across the bridge from Seattle, about half an hour again. Remarkable and nostalgic.

MargLMemberSeeing great lighting strikes to the southeast from here in Arbor Heights. Does remind me of the storms we used to watch at Grandma’s house in Illinois during summer breaks.

JanSParticipantk…the color might be from clouds that are in the way of the lightning…can be fascinating :)
