I was so excited when hearing of our new mini-market on Alki, but…I find that I’m not going there much.

I don’t know if it’s because they don’t have what I need, or if I’ve just grown accustomed to getting stuff elsewhere during the time we’ve been without a market.

I want them to do well here so they stay.

I forgot about them! I’ll have to check them out.

Disappointed that the hand scooped Gelato as promised has not been delivered. I find the unavailability of Gelato on Alki and/or West Seattle incredible. My 2 cents…

Amrakx, I was there a few weeks ago and they had hand-scooped gelato. I didn’t get any, but I did see the stocked case when I was browsing.

It would not be a market I shop at often, only because I don’t live on Alki, but I would definitely patronize it if I needed something there. I have a feeling it will do well in summer when people want to stop in for something while out and about.

Thanks Sue, it must be a recent addition. I’ll hop next door and see!

I have walked there a couple different times for lunch and have been very impressed with their sandwhiches. Also, beofre having company over, a few wknds ago I stopped to get a couple of beers/wines to have on hand. They had one of the best selections I have seen a very long while and the owner was open to getting anyting upon request. It is not quite the same as your typical mini mart but in my opinion that is a good thing. :) I have gone there at least three or four times and plan on stopping by more. :)
