The search box on our site really does work pretty well. Typing in alki sidewalk brings up our most recent report:

We were just out “cruising for news” before sundown and guess we missed the spot where work has begun; will check it out tomorrow.

We went back to the sidewalkless stretch today (sunny at the time), saw no sign of work. Guessing the OP meant there was a survey crew out for a while … thought maybe we’d missed actual construction … but none of that happening yet.
