    Are you a good communicator, tech savvy, and extremely organized?

    The Assistant Director will work cooperatively with the Director and report to the Board, managing logistical issues before and during the Alki Art Fair 2017 — our 20th anniversary event.

    Duties will include:

    • coordinating all rental equipment (e.g., stages, tables, chairs, and tents)
    • hiring and coordinating all support services (e.g. compost/recycling, security, portable restrooms, and the shuttle bus)
    • assisting the Director at the Fair
    • other duties as assigned

    The Assistant Director must attend all Fair meetings (held on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 9pm) and be available the full weekend of the Fair (Friday, July 21st- Sunday, July 23rd). Additional work may vary from 5-10 hours each month.

    The Assistant Director will be paid a stipend of $100 per month leading up to the Fair and $500 for the month of July.
