ITNW is a local sales representation company founded in 2002. We represent a large client base of pet goods vendors and manufacturers to pet supply stores and chains. The Job:
General duties require supporting owner and sales staff, our clients and vendors, and maintain the office and all that takes place there.
You are:
Customer service and satisfaction oriented! Consistent, reliable and honest! An excellent written and verbal communicator with prior retail/ management experience a plus. Able to work in a moderately paced environment. Able to switch focus to the most important priority quickly and return to prior focus without losing track. Have a good memory enabling you to remember multiple product lines, vendor discounts and minimums, and client concerns. Able to follow office administration processes and perform office duties using typical equipment such as phones, computers, software, printers, scanners and fax machines. Ability to utilize all resources available to you to answer questions and solve problems. Have good follow through.Job Requirements:
Support sales staff as needed with requests, correspondence, remote ordering, sales call preparation, product documentation, etc.
Follow established office processes and protocols.
Prioritize and triage incoming email and respond appropriately.
Process orders, requests for credit, forwarding of invoices, sales adjustments.
File paperwork correctly.
Data entry into the database to be performed consistently to avoid backlog.
Keep documentation and references up to date and stored in appropriate useful locations.
Develop a deep understanding of product lines represented; pricing, physical attributes, ingredients or product makeup, source country, target market, etc.
Develop a deep understanding of customer base and head buyers’ expectations.
Run reports and assist with accounts and commissions reconciliation.
Commit to up to 30 hours a week.Your Qualifications:
Proficient on MS Office
High school diploma or equivalent
Retail sales/Customer service or sales management experience a plus
Office administration support experience a plus
Detail oriented and able to quickly change focus without losing your place
Ability to sit for up to 6 hours a day
Ability to use a computer and type, answer phones
Lift up to 30 pounds on occasion
