    Hello,
My name is Elizabeth and this summer I am participating in a program called Amigos de las Americas. Amigos is a non-profit, non-religious, non-governmental organization that trains and sends youth to Latin America for 6-8 weeks to live and volunteer side by side with local communities.

As you can imagine, to participate, volunteers must earn and fundraise part of thier fee. I am specifically working to raise another $1,000 or so dollars. This is why I am writing.

If you or anyone you know could use the any of the following:

Yard work (raking of leaves, etc)

    Babysitting!

    Dog-sitting/bathing/walking

Spanish tutoring up to college level

House work done (oiling of cabinets, vaccuming around house, etc)

Anything else you can think of!

Please contact me at eamigosfundraiser@gmail.com or you can also reply to this post to get more information and to set up a time and date!
Your donation will go to Amigos de las Americas.

For more information on what Amigos is, see http://www.seattleamigos.org

Sounds like a great experience! How old are you Elizabeth? And what kind of babysitting experience do you have?

I am 17 and a senior in high school. I have babysat for my older sister many a time and her children are both of under the age of one and five, so I would say I have enough. :)

Looking for an occasional sitter?!? Know someone who needs an occasional sitter? I would be happy to help. Please email me at the address above for more info!

Bump and a big RAVE-- Elizabeth came over this aftrnoon and cleaned up the chez charlabob yard. She decluttered, raked, battled back some of our most stubborn weeds, and did a great job! She's pleasant, enthusiastic (and she's participating in a great program -- we have college aged friends AND their parents who have participated for years.)

Look around -- see what elizabeth can help you with and get in touch. You'll be glad you did.
