  1. I am looking for a ravine in West Seattle called Pelly Place. Does anyone know where it is located?

It's a couple blocks up from the Lowman Beach park. Can't remember the street names, but if you go up the hill from Lowman on the windy street that leads up to Lincoln Park, take a left on the street that goes north just before that great big apartment house. Follow that street north a couple blocks and the Pelley Ravine will be on your right. There are a few houses in it

  7. Councilmember Tom Rasmussen mentioned Pelly Place repeatedly during his speech at the dedication last fall of the Orchard Street Ravine. Apparently he was involved in getting Pelly Place preserved and restored.
