What's up with The Corner Store & Deli (formerly Tervo's)?

    Anyone know what's going on with the place? They're never open when I pass by and the freakin' place is half empty. I can't believe they spent all that time and money sprucing up the exterior and then basically ordered less inventory than Tervo's. Living in the neighborhood, I was excited to think someone was finally going to do something worthwhile with the place. I realize the location is somewhat cursed, but Jones BBQ seems to be making a go of it. Very disappointing.

    Oops! Sorry, can't believe I missed that. Usually read the blog several times a day, but must have actually had something going on.

    I think another convenience store would fail, but a restaurant comparable to Buddha Ruksa (though not Thai) would do well. I'd love killer Chinese and Thai both within walking distance!
