   I am hoping someone knows what's going on.... I'm guessing it's either a purse snatching or worse. A woman was screaming bloody murder but appeared to be OK. She took off for QFC and then at LEAST 20 guys flew out of the Rocksport and fanned out. Now there are several police cars cruising the area. Anybody know?

   interesting - a bit northwest, but patrol car basically sat in the middle of intersection @ 44th/Dakota with lights rolling for about 15 minutes. Didn't seem urgent, but definitely like they were part of a perimeter. They're gone now.

   Ya they were definitely fanning out. there was a car down at QFC, may still be there. The screaming woman was still there, too. Looked like she had a pretty good support system with her so I didn't offer assistance. Crazy night!

   It was a purse-snatching - strong-armed robbery in police lexicon. I am filing a short story on the home page in a moment. At the courthouse right now for the Skyelar Hailey sentencing, coming up at 1 pm.

   Did it happen inside the Rocksport? Were exactly?

   I don't think so. I think it happened somewhere in the vicinity outside. My impression was that the guys smoking out front came to her rescue along with other people who were just out on the street.

   Pretty funny, one of the car revers at rocksport got a DUI lastnight, about 3 seconds after peeling out of rocksport.

   I wonder if it was a regular who got a DUI? Anyways, did I say before that their nachos plate rules.
