What's moving into Caper's....

    ...now that they are consolidating into the lower level only? If anything I'd think they would stay in the bigger spot, but nope. Just curious if anyone has heard who is taking over the lease - if anyone. It's a great spot!

    I think they were just painting & moving things around. I'm in there a lot, and they've never said they were closing or downsizing their space. Given this economy though, I wouldn't be surprised if they consolidated into one side or the other... that's a BIG store front.

    We haven't heard anything but will inquire as soon as we get the chance (or as soon as I can dig a relevant e-mail out of the inbox).

    I was there yesterday (5/24) and the employees said they were consolidating into the lower level. I asked what was going into the upper level and the answer was "not our problem." Later in the conversation I gathered that are giving-up their lease of the upper part of the store and the building owner will have to find a new tenant but that it is going to be vacant for awhile.
