   Illusions for sure -- I love what Monica can do with my fine longish kinky straight hair (including color). Catlbob goes to Rita for hair and beard cuts (Shh) and color.

   Hands down Tram's Salon on California/Dakota. I guarantee no one can beat her prices, cuts, and colors!!! She is amazing and such a sweet person!! You should definitely give her a call. 206-935-2970

    I like Forsythe. Admittedly it's the only one I've been to...I picked them after not going to a salon for 20 years, no kidding...they do a great job.

    Monica at Illusions hands down! I went through five stylists at multiple salons until I found her. She listens to you and is great with funky styles and color.

    I see Amy at Illusions. I love the salon, especially the no-tipping policy. They are big advocates on employee training, give back to the community, and everyone in there always seems to really enjoy their work. Luckymom30, Illusions is closer to Morgan Junction (between Morgan & Alaska).

    on a related note, I recommend Jan's Beauty Supply on Calif. in the junction.They epitomize the local family owned business that personalizes customer service.
