as in the Mudhoney song. I\'ve been told that WSHC bumperstickers were in existence at one time. Haven\'t ever seen one myself, but I\'d be much more inclined to stick that on my car than the (as RainyDay1235 would say) somewhat corny \'I (heart) West Seattle\'. Anyone know if these are still around?

    Hey VG -

Mudhoney is doing a fundraiser gig tonight in the KEXP parking lot at 113 Dexter. You could ask their people? :) And, rock out at the same time. Just looked at their myspace and I\'m not sure if it\'s free. :\\

I picked up a new, somewhat corny sticker at Summer Fest, but I think I could heart a hardcore sticker too.

  3. I have been around WS a loooooong time and have never seen such an animal.

  4. I had a WSHC sticker (not a standard bumper-sticker size) at one point, I got it last year from Christy McWilson of the Picketts, so these stickers are obviously still around, just don\'t know where you might find one??

Suits - your welcome. Do a review for us if you go?

Add - does Christy McWilson have a WS connection?

Maybe we can track these and other alternative WS stickers down, eh peeps?

    I like choices.

And if you don\'t ever find one, you can always make your own at cafe press. Oval sticker is 2.49 and no minimum order.

  9. JT - cool!

WRT the Mudhoney show, I\'m listening to KEXP now and it sounds like they may be playing on the air in a couple minutes. Or maybe not? hehe

    ...total thread hijack...

The P.O.T.U.S.A. show on Alki yesterday eve was good.

  12. Does my \"SP 20 Festival I\'m Kind of a Big Deal\" lami get me into the show?

  13. Where on Alki did the POTUSA perform? That one certainly wasn\'t on our radar ... we try to track live music but we\'re terminally unhip so if it\'s not the usual suspects (Skylark, Easy Street, etc.) we miss it ... TR

  14. The END 107.7 beach house. Part of the Coastal building and next to Pioneer Coffee. We all stood where the rental bikes normally are on the gravel.
It was the beginning of a short world tour, they flew (or will fly) off to Japan for the next show.

  17. Thanks, seen the Beach House but didn\'t know they had regularly scheduled concerts (you can tell we don\'t live within earshot) much less involving big names - will integrate their listed acts in the Weekend Lineup for the rest of the summer - TR

Thanks everyone for the info - especially JT! Since the original WSHC stickers weren\'t standard bumper size, I may go ahead and create one on cafepress.com. Probably base it on the oval GT stickers I see all over Georgetown. If it turns out decent I\'ll let people know!

Some of the GT stickers have a small image of the Hat and Boots. Anyone have an idea for an iconic WS image?
