   We are looking for a few good desserts...

   We have a pig to roast
   and hamburgers for those who can resist roast pig
   and the campers are providing coleslaw and baked beans...
   and i'm making some potato salad...

   and we've invited guests
   You did hear that you were invited didn't you?

   but it's not a party without dessert.

   I know it's very last minute...
   but i would like to ask the community to help out.

   Your dessert can be large or small
   it can be bite sized or large enough to require serving
   you could bake a cake or cookies or cupcakes or sweet bread or pies or tarts or slather strawberries with chocolate.
   Or if you are like me you could pay someone else to do it for you...

   even a watermelon would be appreciated.

   I can't promise a prize for the best donation
   but i can promise a lot of smiling faces...

   We'll have a cake...
   after all.. it is a birthday party
   but nothing goes better with a pet parade than sweets...

   the where: Nickelsville

   it will be easy to find
   just follow your nose at to bottom of highland park way...
   that pig will be roasting in the parking lot...

   It's hard to resist a well dressed pig ;->

   On the thread that I started, I actually went back a few minutes later and ETA'd the address.

   Totally unnecessary when all one will have to do is follow one's nose! ;-)

   Even though, once again, you are generously offering a contribution to a Nickelsville shindig, that ol' prior commitment thingy has once again surfaced, preventing you from attending.

   Maybe next time we'll kidnap you a few days ahead of time! ;-)

   Saturday's are hard for me. I have a stained glass class until 1pm, and then I have church at 5:30 and alot of times I am running Mom some place. Sunday's are usually better for me.

    I can make a few Granny Smith apple pies, and a few batches of oatmeal raisin nut cookies or chocolate peanut butter cookies or something like that.
