Maybe he could volunteer at the YMCA?

Does it have to be organized volunteer work? I could use someone to organize my basement and help move a dresser. And a couple of other odd jobs. Will feed him.

There are workparties every weekend in WS parks, and most of them post on the Green Seattle Partnership website http://greenseattle.org/events. There are so many he could be double booked every weekend, and the groups who do all the volunteer work would love to get youth involved.

Go to any community center, sit down and talk to the coordinator, and I am sure he will be put to work. My son did this two years in a row at High Point.
