Vet recommendations for my 14 yr. old miniature dachshund

    Does anyone know of a great Vet. that works or has worked with older miniature dachshunds? My dog is 14 and a half years old and just recently has been showing signs of slowing down and is just not doing well. Any and all recommendations would be so appreciated. Thanks!

    Dr Shaffer in North Admiral has done wonders for my 14yr old. Not sure about your breed specific inquiry but otherwise totally recommend him. Admiral Veterinary Hospital 937-4940.

    Second vote for Dr. Schaffer at Admiral. He took very good care of our very old dog and our very old cat.

    A third for Don at Admiral Vet. My feisty 13 year old cat just paid a visit there yesterday for cat acne.

    Lien animal clinic or Greentree Vet are very, very good with older animals.
