Just had a VERY PUSHY salesman at my door. Badge around his neck said Seattle Times and he was trying to get me to subscribe for Sunday delivery. Never been faced with someone so rude and pushy at my door...ultimately ended up closing my door in his face because he just would not take no for an answer. He stomped away in a huff. Who knows if he was legit, but I certainly wouldn't open my door again for him. Time to get a "no soliciting" sign. Between Target and Safeway.

  2. Call the Seattle Times and complain. A few years ago I had the Seattle Times calling me all the time. When I told them no, I wasn't interested a few days later I got a paper. Then a paper for 3 days after that. I called and asked why I was getting it and the person had put in that I agreed to it. So ticked off! Watch the Seattle Times.

  3. Seattle Times sales people are pikers compared to the Home Security racket. Those guys will literally wedge their feet in your door and try to scare you with tales of how dangerous your neighborhood is — when actually the most dangerous-looking thing in the neighborhood is THEM!
