   A tough loss. We had our chances, but we had no answer for that true freshmen in T.E. Austin Seferian-Jenkins who made our defense look like swiss cheeze. That player will be playing for pay on Sundays very quick. I haven't seen a player at U.W.make an impact that fast for quite awhile. He was unstoppable. U.W. has a great core of wideouts that will make noise in the PAC-12 this season. Good win for the Huskies.

   Good game, but wonder what the leftists on this board thought of the UW Red, White & Blue "W" on their helmets today?

   I LOVED them, but what think you?

   Too much patriotism?

   Didn't get to watch the game, but heard some of it on the radio. Sounds like the Huskies might finally be turning things around.

   Smitty, I thought the helmets were a classy, lovely touch. Why in the world would you even ask such a ridiculous question?

   "too much patriotism?" you may have gone crazy at the Sounders game today as all 35,000+ fans raised and waved little American flags from the 9th to the 11th minute of the game. IMHO, it was AWESOME.

   Smitty...who says people on the left aren't patriotic? I didn't even notice. I was too busy watching the game. For goodness sake, you have a skewed view of people who don't agree with you politically !
