Urgent Call for Happy Hour Suggestions

    Thinking of doing a mini pub run (walk) tonight either in the junction or Admiral area. Wanted to start off with a burger at Jak's and then head to West 5, Talarico's, etc. but can't meet until 5:30 at which time Jak's happy hour is over. Any suggestions for a great, cheap, filling happy hour appetizer to get the night kicked off? Something in the Admiral area that lasts until 6:00 would be ideal. . . . .

    Not sure how long HH lasts at the Benbow but they have cheap, strong drinks.

    check out maharaja's bar (it's in the back, you get there by walking down this loooong, strangely lit hallway... it's awesome!). i forget the name of the regular bartender, but he makes some awesome drinks. if you feel adventurous ask him to invent something for you... i've never been disappointed.

    bartender at Maha is Don Bogie - and he's great! Maha is still the best bang for your buck bar in the junction. good suggestion, RarelyEver! :D

    Awesome happy hour deals, $2 off many of their appetizers.

    Our fave are the homemade potato chips (huge basket) for a mere 2 bucks during HH.
