Really lightly snowing in north Seaview too, I can see a tiny flake every few seconds.

Uh oh, batten down the hatches, the city should be shut down shortly. :)

Three flakes. Metro has just gone on emergency routes, please check website to see if you will wait for two or three hours.
There is a run on bread, beer and frozen pizza at the grocery store and I am already installing the chains on all four wheels of my Subaru!

Well, I don't like to be Henny Penny, but the flurries are definitely picking up here.

It dawned on me I've not paid any attention to weather forecasts the past few days. So, I just took a gander at Cliff "The Man" Mass site to see what he says. If snow were to come to the lowlands, the snow should turn to rain by TUesday. If my interpretation is whacked, someone should chime in.

Speaking of beer, lest anyone worry. When all the other entities could not manage deliveries, I witnessed beer trucks go by on 35th almost every day. No need to stock up.

Clearly the retailers had their priorities straight.

  10. Added the latest forecasts to home page posts. They SAY it won't last. However ... forecasters, as we all are WELL aware, are not always right ...

Follow the citywide Twitter link I included, fun to watch reports roll in from people elsewhere.

  13. Salt? Check. Cat litter for cat, not sidewalk? Check. Seven quarts of cioppino in the freezer? Check.

  17. I know no one else wants it, but just think about the happy happy teachers who could really use one more day of vacation!

  18. Full Tilt, I could use another day as well. And if I get it, I'm walking up to Pho 88 Deli and having a big steaming bowl of lunch.

Blizzard status again, it seems like about an inch over the past hour here in HP.. waiting to see what happens tomorrow. Hopefully not total chaos?

Oh, and should I plan on not taking out the trash for the next few weeks? ;)

  20. As a teacher, I would love another day off if I didn't have to make it up. For now, please let me go to school tomorrow so I don't have to still be teaching in July!

I've changed my avatar back to what it has been for the past few weeks. I thought I was done with it for a long time!
