    Lost Monday, November 2, 2009 in West Seattle my BELOVED Grandmother’s diamond earring.

    Possibly lost in Westwood Village. $$ Substantial reward. Great sentimental value!!!

    THANK YOU EVERYONE!

    The mysteries of life are often too much to ponder.

    This morning there was a sparrow in my bedroom (healthy & unharmed who left when the french doors were opened!) and a half an hour later the earring appeared in, of ALL places, my basement where we have walked constantly and where it apparently materialized or one of us would have seen it as it was on the floor just below the stairs!)

    I shall never cease to be amazed by the universe's mysteries!

    Thanks for the help with the posting and to anyone who may have looked for the errant gem!

    Great news! What a relief. Are you thinking that the sparrow had been "playing" with your Grandmother's earring and left it in the basement? That's what it sounds like.

    Wow, that is quite a happy (and interesting!) end to the story.
    Without trying to sound too "cosmicy" I would wonder if the sparrow were a messenger from your grandmother...or if you believe in reincarnation; could it have been your grandmother?
    I am happy for your outcome.
