We currently abide in the Alki(ish) area and are looking at relocating (for a few reasons) to the general area of Delridge and Juneau. Unfortunately we don't have much experience with that area, and looking at SPDs 911 call records will give you pause in almost every area in Seattle, so that's a dead end. Just a little curious if anyone lives, has lived or knows anything about that neighborhood in regards to general safety, quality etc etc.

This isn't necessarily a safety issue but I trust you already know that the area will get a lot busier soon, with likely reopening of Boren, potential construction of the DESC project ... TR

Moved to that general area after living in South Delridge, and we love it!
jayd, I would suggest attending the neighborhood community meeting to learn about this area and meet some of the wonderful neighbors; I started attending the North Delridge Neighborhood Council (NDNC) last summer; fantastic group of folks working hard always to improve the neighborhood; their meetings are 2nd Monday of each month at Delridge Library 6:30 - 7:45 pm, and they have great website: http://www.ndnc.org
