   Let me tell you that I have the courage to write even with the risk of a comment like yours,
   I do not care.
   I do care however about what is in everybody’s skin today’s days.
   May be poor writing, but I have the hope that at list someone listen and perhaps take a very close look at on this issue and is not a joke or a conspiracy as others pretend

   If the government was going to distribute some sort of chemical, why make a big show of it in the airspace? My conspiracy theory money would totally be on poisoning the water supply. That's slightly less obvious than an airplane.

   I was curious, so I googled "chemtrails" as the OP suggested. Very little concrete data available as to what these are or what they could be used for. Most of the websites seem pretty fringe. I'm fairly open-minded - as well as distrustful of government - but I still want to see the science and the evidence.

   The contrails/chemtrails conspiracy is not all that new. The contrails conspiracy theory had active groups on USEnet news as far back as 94. Those who understand the weather conditions at various times and altitudes that produce contrails (and those of us who have lived near major US airbases) find these morons tedious in the extreme.

   Since I have not checked my blood sugar level nor my blood pressure in several hours, I will resist the urge to tell you all exactly what I think of this particular poorly sourced theory.

    Sorry Yes, I meant chemtrails and there is data especially on you tube.
    I know that many avoid you tube for whatever reasons but. The info and real videos of ordinary people are there and in fact even reports.
    Ok I challenge any one to go ahead and take samples of water and or soil and take it to a lab then get back with the results. Let’s be frank and get the facts ourselves.
    One more thing, there are people like myself that do care but, people will choose what is important in their life right now.
    I will conduct a test myself then I will post here the results. (That if I am able to)
    Funny thing in another site I was removed because this was considered a threat to the public.

    I miss the clouds in the sky that used to look like something and it was fun to guess what it was.
    What shape is that?.. A dragon, and that one is a baby and that one is a boat that one it looks like an old man.

    I have an aunt and uncle living in a bunker in Go... oops, can't tell ya that. But rule number 2, or 3, or 4, or something is that a true conspiracy theorist would never be caught but dead on YouTube. I hope you're on a not very good friend's computer for cryin' out loud.

    Funny, I was just out there looking at the clouds tonight at sunset, noticing the delicate mackerel patterns of high cirrus-cumulus and some lower lenticulars indicating high winds aloft and probably yet another front coming in...well, yeah, I wasn't really looking for shapes, although I did notice one string of lenticulars that looked kind of like a sea monster. Guess I've taken too many science classes not to know that most clouds I see are just water vapor, and that jet contrails that linger and spread are the product of particular atmospheric conditions and not so mysterious at all...yeah, it sucks to be so jaded about it all. I guess it's a good thing that more people don't learn basic science after all, so they can live in fear over easily explained natural phenomena.

    Hey, I'm still tryin' to figure out what sampling the soil will prove...if you find some pollution there, maybe it came from...oh, no...a car..or whatever...but showing that it specifically came from a specific contrail on a specific plane? Good luck with that one..

    Chemtrail Boy was booted from Craigslist because the postings were too crazy for their Rants and Raves section. If you've ever been there, you'll know you have to be pretty far out there to be considered crazy on that site. Now he's invading the beloved WS blog? I hope it doesn't get out of hand. . . . . I also don't want anyone to be censored. Perhaps this thread will just die out and the forum for chemtrail conspiracy will die with it?

    Why these bother you?
    Why people who search for truth is persecuted?

    Maria is a not a boy. I don't understand the vehement hostility about this particular topic. Frankly, I think most of us evidence crackpottery in one field or another -- yup, even me. And I know most of us typ- or spell-o from time to time, even when English is our first and only language.

    I have no interest in chemtrails pro or con but I am endlessly amused by human behavior. :-)

    Maybe this is what Mike was alluding to but Chemtrails would be the least efficient way to distribute chemicals. Dose = concentration x exposure. Dropping in whatever "chem" from 35,000 feet would so dilute the dosage that you would need freight trains worth of whatever chems to make a response. Trains can't fly.

    "Maria" says they will provide analyses...Go ahead -- provide the analytical data packages (not just numbers but facsimiles of the real data), and we'll go from there.

    We are not afraid of the results, we just don't want to pay for the analyses of whatever you are concerned about -- these types of analyses are expensive. But you know that, or you wouldn't be conducting them.

    I'd hazard that someone who types like "maria" would be or trying to imitate someone with a Slavic or Russian background. But that is speculation on my part.

    Maria, if you REALLY want to test contrails, I mean chemtrails, I would suggest hiring an airplane to take you up and chase after the planes "releasing" the trails. As JayDee pointed out, dropping chems from 35,000 feet wouldn't be a very effective way to disperse them over any specific area. Any soil test you do would have WAY too many variables to be able to place blame on any single source.
    You really SHOULD be much more concerned about all the miniature chemical incinerators that surround you every day, spewing their waste into the atmosphere that YOU occupy. They are called internal combustion engines and are in virtually every vehicle in our city/Nation/world. The petroleum industry is notorious for including a number of chemicals in your fuel that do NOTHING for the performance of the vehicle, it is simply a convenient way for the petro-chem corporations to get rid of byproducts that they would otherwise need to spend millions to contain and dispose of.
    So, again, airplane contrails? Probably nothing to worry about (other than the damage done to our atmosphere by dumping exhaust into it at that elevation).
    Automobiles with internal combustion engines? Spewing a chemical soup into the air you breath daily.
    I would (and DO) worry much more about the stranglehold the oil corporations have on our economy and environment.
    Conspiracy theories are a convenient distraction for those who are REALLY screwing us.

    Yeah Jo, but sausage is held together by casing.
    Interestingly, the stickiness that holds ground meat together contains the stuff that TG is made of, I just have a problem with all the chemistry that is involved in stripping specific constituents from food.
    Cooking is chemistry, but I don't want to use chemical short-cuts to achieve the same means.
