   Is there a way to seach the forum for certain topics or tags, say \"plumber\" or \"fence\"? When I do the search function I only get returns from the blog proper. Thanks.

   I second the last question. The Forum is pretty worthless with out a search option.

   copy and paste this into google:
   site:westseattleblog.com/blog/forum plumber
   (or whatever your topic is)

   Someone else had posted this instruction a few weeks ago and it works perfectly. It\'s so handy I keep it next to my computer for easy reference. It would be even handier if it was posted at the top of the forum page... ;)

   I\'ll apologize again (did it once somewhere else) for the search situation. Search on the site currently works for everything BUT the forum, which uses a different database. Google indexes everything so the shortcut mentioned above will work in the short run; we hope to have this problem solved soon, along with some other technical upgrades we\'ll be working on soon -- TR

   for searching the forums. Just a shortcut for the google search string but a handy bookmark regardless.
