With the days being mostly gray, I need a little manufactured sunlight. I am going to post about a good deed or something that made me or a someone else happy.
Today, my son was not feeling 100%. We stayed at home mostly to let him rest. Finally, I told him I had a surprise. We cleared up part of the living room where the surprise was going to be. Then I brought it up from the basement. When I opened the package his eyes went wide and a big smile crossed his face.
It was an O Scale Electric Train set. My son loves trains, especially passenger trains. We quickly set it up. He played and played and played (with supervision of course).
It made his day and when out of the blue he said he had the best mommy and daddy in the world, well, it made me feel good too.
I had been waiting about a year to do this. Today I surprised my son and received much more in return.
