I need suggestions for Thanksgiving dinners to-go. I live her in W. Seattle and want to pick it up and bring it home to eat. I am afraid I will get a dried out turkey and mushy, over-cooked vegies. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have ordered pre-made holiday meals from Whole Foods in the past, and have been very happy with the quality. The new Whole Foods location in Interbay is pretty easy to get to from West Seattle.

I think all the grocery stores do the premade Thanksgiving meals. I have heard really good things about the Whole Foods meal though.

I've also heard good things about the meal from Pasta and Company, although it's pretty pricey.

We've done a PCC dinner and a Whole Foods dinner to go. Both we great!

Last year we got to go from Squid and Ink in Georgetown. All of their food is vegan, and our party of vegans, vegetarians and omnivores were all very happy with the meal.

We mentioned that toward the end of the nutcrackers' story on the front page too. They actually had a gal in a turkey outfit with a phone number on a sign ... I didn't add it to our story but here 'tis:

The one offered by Metropolitan Market up in the Admiral District looks pretty good. It looks like they only do it in one size, but if you have 6 people it seems like a great deal.

Haven't mentioned in this thread yet but we have added a PCC coupon for $5 off their Thanksgiving meals - just click the coupon tab atop the page - also added a coupon for some fall yard work (lot of people still doing cleanup work this month, between monsoons!) and more to come. But this one's timely.
