thanks SO much to the young girl who obviously didn't know how to drive, near Target tonight. making left turn in front of me, and then stopping, and reversing. I had to slam on my brakes, sending all my groceries flying. I really wanted the interior of my car to receive a bath of broken beer bottles and roasted chicken juice. perhaps I was in the wrong when I stopped and flipped you off...but you and your tiny little boyfriend really made it special when you followed me thru two lights, with him jumping out at every opportunity, presumably to kick my ass. thanks for ruining my night, and my car's interior.

Maybe you should pack heat. It would have taught him a lesson

OMG--so funny and so awful. Your description has us all laughing and feeling awful for you, Jen.

The same thing happened to me just up from Thriftway by the church minus the groceries flying everywhere and a dumbass trying to act macho.
WTF? Learn to drive folks. Really.

Lucky for him the little farkwit didn't take you on. He's never know what hit him!

um, try driving defensively, helps a lot with situations like that.

um, I was driving defensively. see, that's what the whole "braking" thing was about. dumbass turned in front of me, and instead of completing the turn...she STOPS. mid turn. mid street. and then reverses. but I am sure you would have handled it much more defensively. rock on.

you know, I love West Seattle, and almost everyone in it. But...what is up with blaming the victim? Geez...I thought she explained it very well. And if the perpetrators had followed me like that, I would have been frightened. Good thing I have a cane. Sounds like the OP did nothing wrong, and sometimes the most defensive driving in the world will not keep you safe from moronic drivers. Give me a break..better yet, give the OP a break.

no matter how idiotic you think drivers can be... they can still surprise you.
