Teeny Tiny Tornado??

    About 2:30 today I was watching the storm come across the water from Beach Drive near Me Kwa Mooks. Suddenly the water got very turbulent and I saw a pair of little water dust-devils (for want of a better description) coming toward shore very quickly. When they came onshore, the wind in our yard got crazy and I got the heck away from the window...and then it was over in just a few seconds. Except for all the big fir branches strewn along the side street that I just finished cleaning up! Did anyone else see anything like this?

    I didn't see them, but it sounds like you saw waterspouts.

    That's what I thought they must be, but they didn't look like spouts so much as a lot of violent splashing.
