   We are fostering a really cool dog. His name is Symba and he is a rescue through Salty Dog Rescue.

   He currently lives with another dog, three cats, and a bird. He also lives with three kids 5, 8, 10 and adores them.

   Here is the hitch. He was left on the streets in Taiwan. He had severe skin infections and was malnourished. His skin problems have cleared up, but he lost all of his hair. It is slowly growing back in. It will likely never be the same, but his unique look is super cute. We like to tell folks he is a rare hairless breed from Taiwan. :)

   He is a great dog and if he had hair he would have been adopted long ago. If you know someone who is looking for a new family member contact me or Salty Dog Rescue. Symba deserves a great home.

   Hi Krista,
   I am a holistic veterinarian in west seattle and have worked with some pretty severe skin conditions before and in many of them been able to grow the hair back sometimes even after years of hair loss. I would be happy to donate my time to help this little guy. If you don't find a home for him and are interested send me an email at lena@lenamccullough.com .

   I am going to pass your offer on to the folks at Salty Dog. I know that if he had hair he would be adopted. I just love this guy. We would keep him but then we couldn't foster any more.

   Symba is still looking. He is available as a foster to adopt so you could try him out and see if he is the right fit for your family. He is a super great guy. Bald is beautiful!!!
