Steel sink swiped from Barton Street P-Patch

    My friend Karen asked me to pass along the info that a steel sink has gone missing from the P-Patch:

    The sink was 4-5 inches deep and 5 1/2 feet long and about 2 feet wide. Drain in the center. It was first missed on Sunday morning, 10/4/12.

    If you spot someone around the 'hood trying to pawn off a sink, ask them to put it back where it belongs.

    Here is something I sent in to the blog this past Friday "There is a car pulled over on Barton Street next to the Peapatch that is loaded down with metal and a bicycle on top. the police are checking it out.
    It has a "keep vashon weird" sign. It is so weighed down it is hard to believe it isn't bottoming out. The bike on top looks to be newer, but no front wheel.

    2:35pm Friday"

    Tracy did let me know that nothing had shown up about it, but it definetly looked like some serious metal collecting was going on.

    Not sure if it is related since you mention Sunday, but you might want to check with the Police.
