   We are looking for a self-motivated adult to clean 6 stalls 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). We pay $4.25 per stall and it will take approximately 2 hours to complete the six stalls.

   On Friday and Sunday you would have the additional responsibility to remove the manure from our 4 gravel paddocks and 1 grass paddock. Usually takes 1-2 hours. This work pays $10/hour.

   Both of these jobs can be done any time between 7am and 4pm.

   I've done the math for you: $106.50/week for 9 hours/week = $11.83/hour

   So, if you enjoy the company of horses and the occassional horse person this job's for you. If you're looking to make lots of money then keep looking. This is not the place for you.

   I am searching for riding lessons for my six year old and stumbled onto this post. Does the barn in question offer lessons? We have been driving to Monroe/Woodinville and our trainer just moved to Snohomish - boy would we like something closer.

   Sorry to hijack the post but I have not been able to find a stable nearby so I'm very excited to see this.

    Hi Rykrite - I'm in the same boat as you but am looking to see if I can get on a waitlist to board a horse or if they have any owners that might want to do a half-lease on a horse.     Batty, if you would like to get on the waiting list for the barn in West Seattle I can put you in touch with the barn manager or owner. Every now and then there is someone who is looking to partial lease their horse, I don't think there is right now, but it comes up every now and then.

    Hi I am interested in knowing if the position is still available. I would love to pick up another job.

    I have previous experience with horse and stall cleaning. I lived much of my younger teen years on a farm and worked with horses and cleaned many stalls.

    I have very flexible hours with my other job.

    I'm from montana and have lived in west seattle now for the last three years and would like to have some where to board a horse or do a lease optoin and was giving directions to this barn but no one was there to answer these questions....     I know this is an old post, yet I'm hoping someone out there will be able to give me some info. Just moved to Queen Anne last month. I'm a single mom trying to keep myself in the horse world. Been trying to connect with other equine gals and guys, yet having a hard time. Would love to know more about this barn in West Seattle???? They had an add on Craigslist a couple days ago and for some weird reason it was flagged. Looking to join horse clubs, volunteer, work part time, ride, and enjoy the company other horsey people
