Two patrol units and one parking enforcement ticketing and kicking vehicles wthout trailers out of parking at the boat launch. Most of the folks there were viewing the super moon. Is this the best use of resources?
well, it’s for launching boats…guess that’s their job, now, isn’t it? There are plenty of places down there to watch the supermoon around there…without having to park illegally…
Was neither caught nor ticketed. Not sure why one would infer the post was anything more than an observation. Plus the trailer rule is not consistently enforced by any means. Ever seen the crowds of kids with their cars all polished up on the weekends , during the day, when there actually IS boat traffic?
I don’t think JA’s post was unreasonable. I have a great respect for most police officers, but Alki Beach is where most of the crap takes place, especially this time of year! Let’s hope there’s plenty of police presence around there.
