   Tired of driving to the Continental in the U District, I'm now hoping to find a group here in W. Seattle. Any ideas? Anyone?

   OK...I also have a friend who may be interested. Let's just get together and see how we can manage to communicate! How about the Uptown Espresso on California right across the street from the 7-11? 4301 SW Edmunds St (between S Erskine Way & S California Ave) . It's huge and rarely crowded. Does 7 pm on Monday 11/21 work for everyone?

   Just a general warning, Uptown Espresso gets really crowded at night. My Mom has a group of 6 or 7 ladies that meets there on Monday's and trying to find parking and sometimes a table is a challenge and if you are going to be talking it gets kind of loud.

    THANKS for the warning. Not sure that a quiet place is a reasonable expectation but anyone who is interested please feel free to suggest alternatives. I think if we get there at 7 we can find a table but who knows?

    since I got this little group started, I feel frustrated by not being able to attend next Monday the 12th.....have a very important conflict and am so sorry
    plan to attend on Dec 26 but if anyone wants to meet some other time at the Uptown Espresso before then, please post it-thnx!

    Sorry to switch things up, but if anyone is interested in weekday AFTERNOON Spanish conversation, please let me know. Location can be the same as noted above - or maybe Pioneer Coffee or Tully's on Alki?

    JRS...Since I can't make the evening of the 12th, it seems like a good idea to meet with you in the afternoon. How about either Tues or Th of next week (the 13th or 15th? The reason I like the Uptown is that it is very Big and therefore easier to be farther away from other people!

    JRS,,the Uptown at One pm on 12/15 sounds fine. CU then
    JOAdams....trying to speak is the best thing for beginners and then there's always listening which helps too.
    My vocabulary is pretty good but using it can be a challenge!

    We are set to meet again on Monday evenings Jan 9 & 23. After January I will not be able to come on the 2nd Mon. of the month & would like to see if we can change to the first & third Mondays.
