Small Handyman Project

We're looking for someone to install the quarter-round part of our floor molding (had our wood floors refinished). We'll paint it, but want someone to come and cut it and install it; we don't have the tools (or time/desire!) to do it.
It's not a large job (i.e. shouldn't cost much) but we naturally want the work done right!

    coug,

Try painting it before install,it's way easier than getting down on your knees to do it. All you gotta do later is fill in the nails hole and then with the light rub of a brush over the patch your oxo:)

I am looking for a handyman for lots of small jobs. adding shelves to cupboard, etc.
I have read back on previous forums on this handyman topic...haven't found names and suggestions.
I wonder why it's hard to find one? I hope someone responds to this forum. :) Good luck, Jennifer

  6. You might try some of the companies that generally focus on larger projects. We always welcome handyman projects in West Seattle even though most of our work is in larger projects. Give us a call - we're happy to answer any questions. 206-932-3009.

WE had a great handyman, but being homed so far away from WS we've dropped him and let some projects go undone. Great to see local names and companies pop up for this kind of work. Thanks! I've always been apprehensive of Mr. Handyman types.

I need someone to do things like put up a ceiling fixture (and take away an ugly ceiling fan, install some roman blinds, etc.) Any recommendations for very small jobs like that? Also, some hauling involved -- make the ceiling fans disappear. :-) TIA c

  13. I would love to find a handyman to help me with various things. My most current need is to have the insides of the toilet replaced. I would also like to have an attic pull-down installed, crown moulding installed in my bedroom, etc. I haven't seen a recent recommendation and know there has got to be some qualified people in our area. Please let me know who you have used and liked. Thanks

Dean Wolff -- 206-427-8889. He's licensed for electrical and he's helped us with plumbing, electrical, painting, installing kitchen appliances and more other things than I can think of. Tomorrow he's coming to help me catch up on putting together some new furniture. Dependable, reasonable rates and goes the extra mile to please you.

  17. I recommend Brian Wicks with Rain City Renovations he's done tremendous amount of work on our home, including finishing our basement, adding a fourth bedroom, tearing out an old bathroom vanity and installing new one etc.etc. We've been really happy with Brian's work. He's now working on various projects with my parents home and they'd agree he offers great services for the price!
