Silver Jewelry Repair Recommendation

  1. I have a pair for earrings that I would like to have repaired. The post broke off on one side.

The first jewelry store I spoke with recommended a silversmith who does cold solder due to the design - which could be damaged by the heat.

    Any local recommendations? Thanks! Franci

Franci, I always recommend Wyatt's in Westwood. They are honest, won't advise you wrongly, WSB sponsors and generous supporters of the local food bank.
And it may be true as the first jeweler told you. Its a common problem. Perhaps it could be laserd back in place. Stores don't typically have a laser in the shop and send those kinds of repairs out.
