Several boxes of vinyl records - free

  1. I have no idea what condition they're really in, as they've been in storage for 10 years...
Mostly classical (Mozart, Sibelius, Bach, etc.), some early rock (Paul Williams, Neil Diamond) and other music from various nationalities.
Prefer the whole collection goes away. Or I may just have to take it down to Goodwill... does Goodwill take records?
I know there are some artists around that like to take records and paint them, or turn them into salad bowls and whatnot. Nudge nudge.

Can you estimate how many there are? I am VERY interested but have semi-limited space.

  3. I estimate there's about 3 cubic feet of records. They're easily transportable (and currently stored) in 4 liquor/whiskey bottle boxes.
Email me at eyrse at yahoo dot com if you want to coordinate a pickup.
    Thanks!

OK, that is A LOT. lol. I wish I could take them but I just do not have the space. I hope you find a taker. Also, you might be able to trade them in at Easy Street or Rubato. Good luck. :)

  5. I suppose it could be worse and I could have a cubic yard (3 feet x 3 feet x 3 feet) that'd be a LOT. This would really only fill a 3-foot long shelf 1 foot high by 1 foot deep.
My husband won't let me touch his collection that's currently filling a cedar chest and a large shelving unit.

Hi Marge, We'll take them. I can m ake an art project out of what is scratched, but are anticipating a super cool record player in the near future.
