and how did you want to do that? It's something that YOU think up...right? not someone else? That's too easy.
What kind of things have been suggested by the school? And...which high school do you go to?

Hi there,
We have a Service Learning opportunity at my church. Please email betsy.wharton@gmail.com for specifics. We've been eager to provide such an opportunity to high school students and would welcome a contact about it. Thank you.Posted 2 years ago # -
Google non-profits in your area.
They have things you could do, from redesigning thier website to helping implement a curriculum, like west seattle's very own community service/snowboarding youth program, http://www.theserviceboard.org or if you're into photography, maybe http://www.youthinfocus.org is your thing. TeamRead, http://www.acrs.org, etc.. Find something that mirrors your passion or conversely, something that you would never think to do in a million years and broaden your horizons. As a senior, it's never too soon to get 'free' experience in a field of interest or connect with someone who can mentor you or provide you with a letter of recommendation.

Go to the counseling office or just go to the YMCA and they usually have a bunch of stuff to do. Also you could do Earth Corp. or west seattle baby (I think that's what it's called) where you just fold and sort clothes. How many hours do you need?
