   I need a competent, yet affordable WS lawyer for consultation on preliminary plans to have two very divergent part-time services based out of my home.

   I have a general clue on structure and am meeting with my accountant, but the legal input would be prudent as well.

   Perhaps it was a mistake to ask for competent and affordable in the same breadth as attorney. ;)

   Let me rephrase what I am in search of: Competent and local business lawyer????? :)

   I am a West Seattle business owner and have used Sharon E. Best and Jeffrey Mirsepasy, both local attorneys. It depends on what you need and their area of expertise. I highly recommend either of them as they are easy to work with and their rates are market competitive.

   Sharon Best is great. Otherwise, head downtown to the Hoge Building. Peter Maier, consumer lawyer and familiar with small business.

   John Llewylln is who I have used after having tried another WS attorney who was not responsive with preparing estate material. John is on California just south of the junction. He was available to meet my schedule, and was very prompt in preparing will, power of attorney, etc. Reasonable is not something that you can find when it comes to attorneys in my opinon, but John was affordable and competitive with the other attorney's cost.    I have an attorney in the Bellevue area but she also serves the Seattle area. She is a great business and contract lawyer and is both knowledgeable and affordable. Very comfortable to talk to and has a lot to bring to the table-I would recommend her! Jeanette Bowers Weaver, website:
