Hello! Our West Seattle family is looking for a reliable and loving part-time nanny with infant experience starting in January. I work a regular 40 hour/week job and my husband is a firefighter with a variable schedule. The nanny in this position would be taking care of our infant son from ~8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on the days both my husband and I work. In total, this would amount to between 6 – 9 days each month. We also have a 4 year old son who is enrolled in full-time preschool so you may also be responsible for getting him ready and dropped off at the school 1 block away.
While the schedule isn’t a consistent Mon/Wed/Fri situation, the shift schedule is set for the full year so you will always know well in advance what days you are needed.
Infant experience required. No smoking, no drugs. Infant CPR and first aid certification is necessary for employment. Background check and good driving record required. Enthusiasm about caring for children and supporting their development is essential. Compensation is around $15/hour depending on experience.
