Several people predicted a baby boom exactly 9 months from the winter storm.
So...uh, anyone else besides me expecting in August/September? :)

Congrats!
wow...congratulations to all....how exciting !...You'll have to all get together, and have preggo meet-ups... (of course, you can come to the regular ones, too, but you know what I mean...hehe)
Congratulations everyone!
Christmas of 1957 must have been a chilly one in West Seattle, (or, my Dad got my Mom a nice gift ;-) ) because, September 26 of the following year, I was born!
Mike
I am so glad something wonderful came of that storm.
congratulations all!
congratulations!! well if all of you August parents want to take a childbirth class, please look up "natural childbirth west seattle" using google and find your very own childbirth class right here in your back yard. Also, we have a very active breastfeeding support group in the form of La Leche League of West Seattle. Hope to see you in August!!
And I thought that sound was from "Thunder Snow" :)
Oh Jaysus, maybe it's not a hangover Mrs.C has:)
D'oh, add one more to that list! :-) August baby here we come!
Ha ha!! Congratulations, all! We got a head start before the snow flew and expect a visit from the stork in May...so we'll have some gently used baby clothes to pass on by late summer!
Me, too -- first week of August!
Population explosion. glad I didn't drink the water. :)
Hey all you parents-to-be - don't forget to check out PEPS (Program for Early Parent Support) - an absolute lifesaver. http://www.pepsgroup.org
so...am I losing count...is that 5? plus one in May? herongrrrl...must have been SOMETHING special last - um - August or so?
wow !
And if these sweet babies are due in August; forty weeks back is before our first snow storm. Best to blame it on Thanksgiving, L-tryptophane or too much Veterans Day celebrating.
(It could happen!)
I always joke that I was a Thanksgiving conception (a miraculous one at that) because I was born in August.
Any name suggestions?
Sandy
Deeice
Plow
Lil' Nickels
September 8th for me...a storm baby it was!
Congratulations Harmonic! Looks like you had a harmonic weather convergence!
I like What The's game.
Effen Snow

Phoebe Snow
I.C. Snow
Claire Day
Telly-Commute
Harmonic - I'm due September 9th...09/09/09
Cool, except that will never actually happen of course! :)
RainyDay -- don't be so sure... my cousin delivered twins last year on 08/08/08, naturally, wasn't induced.... her due date was 08/16/08
Nice RainyDay, I had that mentioned to me as well! It will be interesting to see when we both go!
I'm sure someone must have pointed out to you both that 09/07/09 is Labor Day. Traffic across the bridge will be lighter on that day if you are planning on a hospital birth.
Labor Day is a great day to have a baby! One of the easiest births I've ever attended happened on Labor Day.
I think the statistics are something like 5% of babies are born on their "due" date. If you're pretty sure of your conception date you can get a more accurate due window. Of course, with all those snow days, it might be hard to be sure! ;) Early ultrasound measures are pretty accurate for predicting an accurate due window too.
