   First Annual Seattle Mom Prom Tickets on Sale Now
   Tickets go on sale for Seattle event to benefit Postpartum Support International of Washington

   First Annual Seattle Mom Prom, a fundraiser for postpartum support for women, went on sale this week. The Seattle Mom Prom is the first event of its kind for the women of Seattle. On April 10 women of all ages can take a step back in time, trade in their mom jeans for sequins and live up the glory and glamour of their first prom. Attendees will enjoy an evening of dancing, drinks and dessert indulgence, and the opportunity to win prizes from local companies.

   "I started thinking about putting together the Seattle Mom Prom when I became a parent and realized how crucial having a solid support system is for mothers. I wanted to organize an event for women to honor and celebrate moms, and support a great organization like Postpartum Support International of Washington," said Myla Rugge, founder of the Seattle Mom Prom.

   Tickets are available online at the event website, http://www.seattlemomprom.com, for $35. Tickets include entry into the event, two drink tickets and five song submissions to the music playlist. The event is taking place at the Naval Reserve Building in South Lake Union in Seattle, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m.

   All proceeds from the Seattle Mom Prom will directly benefit Postpartum Support International (PSI) of Washington, a non-profit organization designed to support and educate women, families and professionals about Postpartum Mood Disorders (PPMD).    The Seattle Mom Prom is a special night to celebrate women - an evening to let loose on the dance floor, enjoy some drinks and desserts, and ultimately help raise money for postpartum support.
