A friend bought a pint of Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls ice cream at QFC in the Junction couple of weeks ago. They won't carry it anymore since the president of QFC deemed it inappropriate according to a checker. :-/

Any WS sightings? I need some Schweddy balls.

Talk about caving into an employees demands. They must be prudes. How does that person live and cope in the real world day to day without feeling offended anywhere they go. It's sick how politically correct we have to be. It's a marketing concept that Ben&Jerrys has been using for decades. Can I complain about chunky monkey because I'm large and feel offended? It must be worse working with that person. You have to watch what you say or do...Lordy! Now that you mentioned it, I've always felt weird going into that store.

That is so lame. I would really like to try this ice cream. If for no other reason than that is one of my favorite SNL skits EVER!

  15. Stopped by the Admiral Safeway for the first time yesterday hoping to find some Schweddy Balls. Nothing! Not even an empty spot in the shelf with a label for them. Anybody seen them recently? Where can we find some?

  18. One Million Moms? I wonder if the stores are more interested in an anonymous group, or local customers. Keep asking for your Schweddy Balls. The big chains may not bend, but the smaller local markets are more likely to provide what their customers want.

  19. So, for those of you who've managed to score some...how are those Schweddy Balls?
