    Denny Middle School or Pathfinder?

    8th grade son and twin sixth grade daughters for 2011-12. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

    They are completely different middle school experiences. I have a soon-to-be 8th grader at Pathfinder and my son went to Madison. It really depends on your kids and the kind of environment you think they would do well in - small school (approximately 50 kids in each MS grade band at Pathfinder) or large (I think Denny has about 300 kids in each grade band). The larger schools offer more choices such as band and languages and the smaller environment allows for more individualized focus.

    I recommend you visit both if you can before school starts to get a sense of the environment. Denny is moving into their new building so it may be a little chaotic the first few weeks of school.
