Roxhill Elementary getting new flooring,

    That is great to hear - it's so hard to get the needed repairs and updates done on those old school buildings. Can they also repaint the peeling "R" on the side of the building facing Roxbury??

    Good news! I was there three years ago on a visit and remember that the children were required to bring thier own bottles/have cups at school to fill from the water jugs in classrooms or the bottled water machine. Apparently, there was corrosion or contamination with the pipes so the water fountains were unusable.
    Poor kiddos.

    Yes about 3 years ago the kids could not use the drinking fountains but that was all cleared up. Roxhill already has a large library but it is great news that the library is being remodeled!

    Roxhill Elementary needs to have the playground lines re-painted.

    Mae, if you are online lets get some volunteers to re-paint the lines or maybe the community can help us out!
