Remember the Beach House Italian Restaurant on Alki

    I know it's only 5 or 6 years ago that they moved away from Alki, but I found them in Burien. The restaurant is called Bistro Baffi, same chef, same incredible Italian food. They used to be upstairs near Pepperdock burgers. No more plastic chairs and tables, way more upscale, and wonderfully served. I know it's not West Seattle anymore, but so worth the drive to Burien. 15217 152nd SW.Mmmmmm

    My husband and I have been there three times. We found the food to be good, not stellar, but the service was sorely lacking. It appears that if you are one of their cronies you get over-the-top service... but if you are not, then you get second class service.

    Just our experience, YMMV, etc.

    i heard that too... but i know more than one local food lover who raves about the place... and the pics on their facebook posts are intriguing...

    when groupon had it's Bistro Baffi deal i bought a $50 certificate. I'll let you know what we think about food, service and value after we use it... some time after valentines day:)

    we're going to Dukes for our romantic interlude...
    it won't disappoint even in the week leading up to valentine's day...
    and we have a deal there too:)
